THE AIM OF THIS RESEARCH PAGE:
This page presents key questions that challenge the Qadiani Jamaat’s claims while highlighting the true teachings of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, as preserved by the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement.THE REASON OF "Lahori vs Qadiani" DEBATE:
The Lahore Ahmadiyya vs. Qadiani Jamaat Debate is centered around a fundamental theological dispute:
Did Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claim Prophethood, or was he only a Mujaddid (Reformer) and the Promised Messiah?
ALREADY PROVED: Hazrat Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad DID NOT claim Prophethood.
READERS MUST NOTE:
✅ While the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement maintains that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad never claimed to be a Prophet,⚠️The Qadiani Jamaat later introduced the concept of "Ghair Tashreehi Nabi" (Non-Law-Bearing Prophet), which DID NOT EXIST IN Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's lifetime.
🚨 This change led to a split in 1914, as well as controversial doctrines like Takfir-e-Muslimeen (declaring non-Ahmadis as kafirs). Over time, the Qadiani Jamaat was forced to backtrack on its Takfir stance in 1954 but continues to hold contradictory positions.

SET OF TWENTY-THREE QUESTIONS FOR QADIANI JAMAAT
📌 Section 1: Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s Own Beliefs:
➡️ Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad explicitly rejected the idea that rejecting his claims makes someone a kafir. He himself wrote:
✅ "It is my faith since the very beginning that no one is rendered kafir by not believing in my claims." (Taryaq-ul-Qulub, p. 130)
✅ "A person who recites Kalimah and follows Islam cannot be a kafir." (Aina-e-Kamalat-e-Islam, p. 259)
🛑 Critical Questions for Qadiani Jamaat:
Q1. Did Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad ever claim Prophethood in his lifetime in the same way past prophets like Moses, Jesus, or Muhammad (PBUH) did? If yes, where?
Q2. If rejecting a Prophet makes someone a kafir, why did Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad explicitly write that non-Ahmadis are still Muslims? (Taryaq-ul-Qulub, p. 130)
Q3. If Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad never called himself a Prophet, why does the Qadiani Jamaat insist he was one?
📌 Section 2: From where did the "Ghair Tashreehi Nabi" come from?:
➡️ After Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s death, his son, Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad, introduced a new doctrine.MUST NOTE:
❌ This term does NOT exist in the Quran, Hadith, or classical Islamic scholarship.
❌ This term does NOT exist in the Hazrat Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's OWN writings.
❌ No previous Mujaddid, Wali, or Muhaddath had ever called themselves a "Ghair Tashreehi Nabi".
🛑 Critical Questions for Qadiani Jamaat:
Q4. Where in the Quran or Hadith is the term "Ghair Tashreehi Nabi" mentioned?
Q5. If neither Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad nor any Islamic scholar before him ever used this term, why did Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad introduce it later?
Q6. Who was the first person in Ahmadiyya history to introduce the belief that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was a full-fledged prophet? Why was it Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad after 1914?
Main Question:
What is the position in SHARIAH of the term GHAIR TASHRIHI NABI (non-lawbearing prophet)? Is this term traceable in the Holy Quran and the Traditions (Hadith)? If not, what is its source and origin? Who was the first person, after the Holy Prophet Mohammed, (peace be upon him) to coin this term? How long after the death of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was this term coined? And what was the meaning given to this term by the person who coined it?
📌 Section 3: Takfir-e-Muslimeen (Declaring Non-Ahmadis as Kafirs)
✅ What Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad originally believed:1) "Even if someone does not accept me as the Promised Messiah, he remains a Muslim."
(Azala-e-Auham, p. 594-597).
2) "Why do you call Kalimah-reciting Muslims kafir? Be mindful of Allah!"
(Aina-e-Kamalat-e-Islam, p. 259).
❌ What the Qadiani Jamaat (under Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad) later declared:
a) "Anyone who does not accept the Promised Messiah is a kafir."
(Tashheezul Azhan, April 1911, p. 141).
b) "Even someone who secretly believes in Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad but does not take Bai'at is a kafir."
(Tashheezul Azhan, April 1911, p. 141).
🛑 Critical Questions for Qadiani Jamaat:
Q7. Why did Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad contradict his own father’s teachings?
Q8. If a person recites the Kalimah and believes in Islam, how can they be a kafir?
Q9. If the Qadiani Jamaat truly believes in Islamic unity, why did Mirza Basheer Ahmad write that ‘anyone who does not accept the Promised Messiah is not only a kafir but a confirmed kafir and out of Islam’? (Kalamatul Fasal, p. 110)
Q10. Why did the Qadiani Jamaat backtrack in 1954 and declare in court that they consider non-Ahmadis to be Muslims? If they were right in 1914, why did they change their stance later?
📌 Section 4: The Split of 1914
(Formation of Lahore Ahmadiyya vs. Qadiani Jamaat)
➡️ Four Key Events Leading to the Split:
1) Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad published his Takfir-e-Muslimeen stance in 1911.
2) Maulana Nur-ud-Din (1st Khalifa) issued a clarification rejecting Takfir, but his position was ignored.
3) After Maulana Nur-ud-Din's death in 1914, Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad became the 2nd Khalifa and reinforced Takfir..
4) Maulana Muhammad Ali and others rejected this stance, leading to the formation of Lahore Ahmadiyya Jamaat to preserve the original teachings of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.
🛑 Critical Questions for Qadiani Jamaat:
Q11. If Takfir was justified, why did Maulana Muhammad Ali and 70 others senior members of Ahmadiyya Movement reject it?
Q12. If Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s son (Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad) was right in his claim that - belief in Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad is essential for being a Muslim, why did many of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s closest companions leave the Qadiani Jamaat in 1914?
Q13. Why did the Qadiani Jamaat refuse to accept Maulana Nur-ud-Din’s clarification in 1911 that Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad’s statements about Takfir were misleading?
📌 Section 5:
The 1953 Inquiry & Qadiani Jamaat’s Backtracking on Takfir
➡️ Due to Anti-Ahmadiyya riots in Pakistan (1953), the Qadiani Jamaat faced legal pressure.
➡️ In a court inquiry, they were forced to declare that non-Ahmadis are within Islam.
➡️ They retracted their Takfir stance, aligning with what Maulana Muhammad Ali had said all along.
🛑 Critical Questions for Qadiani Jamaat:
Q14. If calling non-Ahmadis kafirs was correct in 1914, why did you change your stance in 1954?
Q15. Why did the Qadiani Jamaat only retract their claims when legally pressured?
Q16. If a person believes in the Quran, the finality of Prophethood, and the Kalimah, but does not believe in Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, should they be considered a Muslim? Why or why not?
Q17. If Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was a Prophet, why do you not have a separate Kalimah like other prophetic communities (e.g., followers of Moses, Jesus, or Muhammad PBUH)?
📌 Section 6:
1974 Pakistan Law - Ahmadis Declared a Non-Muslim Minority
➡️ Because of the Qadiani Jamaat’s Takfir doctrine, the whole Ahmadiyya Movement was officially declared a Non-Muslim Minority in Pakistan.
🛑 Critical Questions for Qadiani Jamaat:
Q18. Would the 1974 ruling have happened if the Qadiani Jamaat had never introduced the Takfir doctrine?
Q19. How far was Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad’s 1954 statement true when it contradicted his own previous claims about non-Ahmadis being outside of Islam?
Q20. Did any WALI (Saint), MUJADDID (Reformer), MUHADDATH or any other person call himself a NABI (Prophet) and/or a RASUL (Messenger) prior to Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Sahib?
Q21. Hazrat Mirza Sahib has always called the revelation of Allah to him as WAHI-EWALAYAT [saintly revelation] and not WAHI-E-NABUWWAT [prophetic revelation]. If he has claimed Wahi-e-Nabuwwat for himself in any of his writings, can you please quote such writings?
Q22. If a NABI calls himself a NABI and RASUL, and a WALI (Saint) too calls himself a NABI and RASUL, then what is the difference between the two?
Q23. Does a person become a KAFIR and go out of the pail of Islam by not believing in the claim of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Sahib? What did Hazrat Mirza Sahib write about this?
📌 Section 7:
Conclusion – Who Preserved Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s True Teachings?
✅ The Lahore Ahmadiyya Jamaat upheld the original teachings of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad:
➤ MGA DID NOT claim to Prophethood.
➤ No Takfir of non-Ahmadis.
➤ Focused on the revival and propagation of Islam.
❌ The Qadiani Jamaat changed their stance over time:
➤ Introduced the "Ghair Tashreehi Nabi" doctrine..
➤ Declared all non-Ahmadis as kafirs (Takfir-e-Muslimeen).
➤ Later backtracked when legally challenged.
📌 Final Thought:
💡 If Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad did not claim Prophethood and never declared non-Ahmadis as kafirs, why should anyone believe otherwise?
